Robert Downey, Jr. told The Times magazine in an interview:

"A lot of my peer group think I’m an eccentric bisexual. That’s OK. Being relaxed about sexuality is something you’re born with.’ My identity was written on the wall by ancient and formidable guides and forces. The best thing I can do is keep my hand out of it."

Being bisexual is only halfway to being a homo, which is a halfa$$ed approach. It probably helps to be bisexual in Hollywood, especially when you’ve got a director who fancies you, but is also having a hard time deciding if you’re right for the part.
